Brilliant technicians and engineers continue to be innovative with useful inventions that improve the quality of life of their fellow human beings. In the past when you wanted to make a phone call you need to be near a phone that was connected through land lines.
If someone was expecting a call, they had to remain near a phone, or they would miss their call. This could mean annoying one’s mother or losing a lucrative business contract. A person far from a phone could miss a call from their sweetheart or from the bank with important information about their accounts. All of these inconveniences were eliminated with the invention of the cell phone.
Cell phones first appeared during the 1980′s when the technology was perfected for this type of communication. When these phones first appeared they were quite bulky and expensive so few people bought one. As the years have gone by, the cell phone has become smaller and less expensive.
Currently a great percentage of the population around the world carries a small phone in their purse or pocket. The cell phones are dependent on a network to transfer the calls, and this network has expanded so it is possible to use a phone in many locales.
Cell Phones Improve Constantly
Brilliant engineers and technicians invented the cell phone, and their successors have made many improvements in these devices. These phones now provide better service than ever before. The improvements seem to come daily which the manufacturers encourage to keep up sales.
The connections that cell phones provide are better than ever before. A person in Los Angeles can call someone in Geneva and hear every word that person says. Previously connections would be lost constantly. Currently fewer connections are dropped so people are able to talk continuously.
The most modern cell phones have many excellent features. There are also phones on the market today that have the capability to take a picture and you can instantly send it to a friend or family member across the country. This is an outstanding option to have to send pictures to family members who enjoy sharing special moments together even though they are apart.
There are also phones nowadays that even come with video capturing capability. Just as normal pictures can be sent over the cellular phone communication network so too can the video images. These new video imaging capabilities of cell phones are sometimes used in place of news services at times if they don’t have a reporter in place to capture these events. In 2006 the most recent trend for cell phones was mobile devices that are colored; the most popular of which were the cellular phone in pink color. All kinds of symbolism goes with the color pink including girly chic to breast cancer awareness; there aren’t many different reasons for picking a pink cell phone.
There are basically two types of pink cell phones, those that have the entire handset that is pink (except for the screen and perhaps buttons), or cell phones that have a face plate that is changeable that gives you the ability to have any color or design that you want to buy.
Major Retailers
The nation’s largest cell phone service providers all have at least one model of pink cellular phone; the difference from provider to provider is the brand which they carry the pink phones in. Providers may carry their own unique model of pink cell phone, or a unique shade of pink to set their cellular phones apart from the others.
Sprint, Cingular, Verizon, and T-mobile each carry one or more variety of pink cellular phone. Not too surprisingly Nextel doesn’t offer pink cellular phones, as they are usually used by businesses and need to be durable not trendy.
Sprint’s Offerings
Sprint has three pink cell phones available, all by Sanyo; the SCP-2400 in misty rose, the SP 3100 in pink, and the Katana in Cherry Blossom Pink. The SPC-2400 is the most basic of the three, it is a flip phone, has a color screen, internet and text capabilities, and all the other basic features one would expect from a Sprint cellular phone.
The SP-3100 is a bit more sophisticated; it is a flip phone, has a colored screen, internet and text capabilities, plus it is a camera phone for capturing memories on the go. The newest of the three, the Katana is a camera flip phone with Bluetooth wireless capabilities, Bluetooth technology is superior to all other wireless technology because it is more powerful and will work reliably across larger distances with more obstacles.
Cingular’s Offerings
Cingular has one of the largest selection of pink cell phones, all by Motorola; the L2 in pink, the RAZR V3 in pink, and SLVR L7 with iTunes in pink. The L2 is a Bluetooth wireless phone with multimedia capabilities and a color screen. The RAZR V3 is an ultra sleek multimedia camera flip phone; this phone offers all of the fun features one would expect from a cellular phone such as games and customizable ring tones. The SLVR L7 with iTunes, is the ultimate cell phone, it offers Bluetooth technology, the ability to download and store 100 apple iTunes songs, is a camera phone, is ultra slim, plus has all the multi media capabilities one would expect from Cingular wireless.
T-Mobile and Verizon offerings
One offering from Verizon is the Motorola RAZR V3m; which is a extremely sleek camera phone that has vcast capabilities as well as Bluetooth technology and streaming media capabilities. This is all an addition to the primary multimedia capabilities that is offered by Verizon wireless.
T-Mobile’s pink cell phone is what some would think as Motorola RAZR V3 in magenta; this is a ultra slim digital phone camera, with multimedia capabilities as well as Bluetooth wireless technology, all in striking magenta color.
Going Pink!
Pink cell phones are interesting, fun and still have all the features anyone could ever wish for in a handheld wireless device, each major company offers at least one of these types, and they are all available from popular manufacturers.
