It was captivating watching The Telephone Bank Robber on television, wasn’t it? The police say they have a big suspicion that it may have been or could have been Candice Rose Martenize just because she has a resemblance to the zillion pictures we all saw on television.
The police caught Innocent Until Proven Guilty Candice Rose Martenize in a North Virginia suburb. I think that “Martenize” is an alias. Out here in Idaho we spell it “Martinez, Martinis,” and some non-teetotalers after 4 P.M., “martini.”
I’ve made a scientific study of the case.
We learn at: http://cellphones.about.com/b/a/026565.htm
“September 15, 2003 “New cell phone radiation danger: bloody brain damage…
“According to a British scientist, cell phones can ‘cause proteins to leak across the blood-brain barrier’, which could lead to early senility. The scientist, quoted by The Independent, says the long-term effects are not proven, and that damage could repair itself, but he also explains that people that used to become senile around 60 could now do so in their 30s due to intense exposure to radiation.’”
Radiation is not good for your brain, especially if you are a rat!
We learn at: http://cellphones.about.com/b/a/056798.htm
“January 12, 2004 Rats get visible brain damage from cell phone radiation
“The February issue of Popular Science has a short piece about a Swedish study involving rats exposed to cell phone radiation. A classic approach, but this time brain damage is visible and it’s freaky! A picture of a rat brain after cell phone exposure shows many dark spots, apparently leaked blood vesels (vessels) and damaged neurons. Of course, the industry has been quick to dismiss the study, but other scientists are gearing up to try and replicate these findings. So far, the most prevalent scientific opinion on cell phone radiation is essentially that it is too weak to damage the human brain…”
You got it?
Cell phones can fry your brain, especially if you are a rat.
Our Innocent Until Proven Guilty Candice Rose Martenize or “Martinez, Martinis,” or “martini” is most likely completely innocent.
If cell phones can cause early senility, they can change your love-abiding personality to that of a money-hungry cell-phone-talking bank robber.
That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.
Why would such a Innocent Until Proven Guilty lovely young creature ever want to do anything other than to love and benefit her fellow human beings, especially old men in Idaho?
Innocent Until Proven Guilty didn’t do it on purpose!
For those of you who think the Phone Bandit was just dumb, here is a story:
“Robbed the Post Office November 17th, 2005.
“A man moved to the small rural community I live in and rented a box at the local Post Office. In order to rent the box he had to show picture ID and give his physical address and phone number. He lived in line sight of the post office just off the main road. Two days later he robbed the Post Office at gun point, the local police and postal inspectors merely had to walk across the street to arrest him at his home. His mail is now being forwarded to a federal correctional facility for the next several years.” (http://www.dumbcrooks.com/)

This is important because just seeing a picture of a cell phone will not tell you much about how it actually works.

More often than not, your cellular phone service provider has copies of the cell phone records of all their subscribers. Cellular phone records contain all the calls an individual has made during a particular span of time. This includes the phone or mobile number called, the time the call was made, the duration of the call, and any accompanying charges for each call made.
Other mobile phone records even reveal the following:
• a list of incoming calls and their numbers;
• the location of calls made and received;
• the number of text messages sent;
• the number of international calls placed; and
• any extra monthly charges on the cell phone.
For postpaid plan subscribers, getting cell phone records for every billing cycle is important to pay for your monthly charges promptly and to retain the service. If mobile phone records come erratically, you should file a complaint since you are entitled to know what you are paying for every month. More importantly, you should examine your cell phone records to ensure that all of the charges are 100% accurate.
Cell Phone Records – Practicing Online Safety
Cell phone records are directly mailed to an address that is provided by the subscriber and are supposed to be strictly confidential. Recently, however, cell phone service providers are encouraging more of their subscribers to set up an online account.
With companies offering cellular phone records online, you will not have to wait every month for your billing statement to be mailed to your home or office. In fact, you can check your cell phone records any time during the month, wherever there is a computer and an Internet connection. This will help you to track your cell phone usage throughout the month and determine the number of free minutes that you have left.
However, there are some risks to obtaining mobile phone records online since there have been instances where other people have posed as account holders to get the information. They may call the cell phone service provider requesting for an address change to get the cell phone records or they may find a way to activate your online account for the same purpose.
There are also a number of third party companies on the Internet that are selling cellular phone records but you must learn to be wary of these. Keep in mind that cell phone records need to be ordered directly from the cell phone service provider.
Despite any potential danger, accessing mobile phone records online is undeniable convenient. It’s really up to you to secure your information and you can do this by…
• immediately changing the temporary password that your cell phone service provider has given;
• coming up with a difficult password (preferably alpha-numeric) that you have picked randomly (i.e., one that is not obviously related to you such as your birth date or anniversary date);
• not divulging your password to anybody else!
Cell phone records are part of your entitlements as a cell phone service subscriber but you also need to be an intelligent consumer. Identity fraud is on the rise but if you keep your records secure and scrutinize your cell phone records for any anomalous entries all the time, then you will not be a victim.

There is a new acronym running around and it is ICE. No, not that frozen water you put in your favorite beverage. ICE stands for “In Case of Emergency“.
What if….
You are in a car accident rendered unconscious?
You’re at the mall or work and become incapacitated?
You are on a business trip and something happens?
What happens normally (we hope), the police are summoned or fire department, an ambulance comes and takes you to the hospital.
How is the staff to know your medical history?
Are you allergic to any drugs?
Do you have a history of heart disease?
Do you have a living will that the medical staff needs to know about?
Do you have a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate order)?
Does you’re young child know whom to call?
What if you’re Cell Phone, yes that little sometimes annoying thing that in a pinch could save your life, yes, save your life?
The idea is that you store the word “ICE” in your mobile phone address book, and enter the number of the person you would want contacted “In Case of Emergency”.
In an emergency situation, ambulance, police and hospital staff will then be able to quickly find out who your next of kin is, your emergency contact, and be able to call them quickly and get the information they may need to keep you alive.
You could have multiple ICE numbers in your cell phone so if one does not answer emergency personnel have another contact, for instance, ICE, ICE1, ICE2 and so on.
One could be your spouse, your best friend, and your parents, whom ever know enough about you to be of assistance to YOU.
It’s as simple as that, take the time to go and program ICE in your cell phone today, those 3 letters in your cell phone just may save your life one day!
